Roberta is the designer and founder of Barocco Tribal.  Her workshop is based at Craigencalt Farm, also working in partnership with a wonderful team in India.

Roberta's  journey performing and teaching Tribal Fusion Belly dance along with practice as a dance psychotherapist has been a constant inspiration for her designs. Each piece of clothing is totally unique. The initial collection was aimed at dancers but now the range has grown to accommodate a variety of markets.

Roberta hand picks antique silk saris which once adorned an Indian bride in Rajasthan. Each one is embellished with light catching gold & silver stitch. Roberta works closely with local artisan tailors to design and create each bespoke piece. Worn by dancers, performers and for every day. Perfect for renaissance & steam punk festivals, glamorous evenings out, or to add a sparkle to every day.

Ethics and sustainability are fundamental to Barocco Tribal.   The team works in happy and healthy conditions at their workshop in India with fair wages paid.  Along with using sustainable fabrics, they take care to use eco friendly packaging and offer full transparency to the working of the business.
